Glamping at Foxholes Farm!

Our fantastic Glamping Pods (Chicken Coop & Highland) and Safari Tent (Herdwick) are the perfect getaway for families and couples.  They all have two bedrooms but can sleep up to six people.  We provide eco-friendly towels and linen.  They each have their very own private, wood-fired hot tub, the perfect place to soak up the lake and countryside views whilst the BBQ is perfect for cooking on in the warm summer evenings.  Check in is between 3pm and 5pm and departure is 10am.

We are situated in the quiet oasis of a family run farm, a few minutes’ drive from Hertford, which means easy access to the local shops and pubs.  There are many things to do in and around Hertford including a trip to Hertford Castle where you can enjoy a nice picnic in the grounds or a walk around the Chadwell Way Sculpture Trail which follows a five-mile route through the towns and countryside of Hertford, and Ware in Hertfordshire.  We are five minutes’ drive away from the A10 giving you access to various nearby towns and to train stations that have frequent direct trains into London.

All guests will receive Bread, Milk, Fruit, and an Afternoon Tea (a scone, clotted cream, jam, strawberries & tea bags) on arrival.  You will also get a barbeque with firelighters, matches and utensils that you are welcome to use during your stay.  Enough wood and firelighters are also provided for the hot tub for your stay.

You will receive a discount in our award winning Farm Shop.  Our Farm Shop has a Butchery counter (stocked with our very own beef and lamb, along with other local meat), and Deli counter (stocked with lots of yummy homemade pastries).  We also stock plenty of local produce.

You will have unlimited access to our Farm Park where you get to meet our animals (sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, donkeys, mule, rabbits, chicken, ducks, guinea fowl).  During school holidays we hold various events in our Farm Park.  These can all be found under the Farm Park Events page. 

We allow guest to bring up to two well behaved dogs (fee applies) for their stay.  We provide dog blankets and bowls for their stay.  Dogs are not allowed to enter our Farm Shop.  However, we allow them anywhere else on our grounds as long as they remain on their leads, stay out of the lake and cleaned up after at all times.
