Cattle and pigs are now in their straw yards for the winter. Please walk round and see the cows, pigs, lambs & chickens. All the drilling for 2015 crops of oilseed rape, barley & wheat has been finished for the Autumn and will resume in the spring. We look forward to a short winter. Pets corner has been dismantled for the winter, the animals are in their winter quarters. Pets corner will be under going a major transformation ready for Spring.
We are in the middle of a whirlwind in the Farm Shop, as we have been shortlisted as finalists for no fewer than 4 awards, 2 in Hertfordshire for ‘Best Small Business’ and ‘Customer Service’ and for ‘Best Small Farm Shop’ of the UK by FARMA (National Farm & Retail Marketing Association). Also ‘Farm Shop & Deli Award’ for the South East Region. A very big thank you to all who voted, wrote testimonials and who support us regularly. We are now taking Christmas Orders for meat & cheese.
