Summer here at Foxholes Farm becomes a hive of activity. Come rain or shine we have plenty of things to do to make your visit this summer to Foxholes Farm a real treat for you and your family.
We have many summer activities on the farm this year to suit children of all ages. Our Little Foodie Farmers Workshops are running Monday to Friday throughout the summer holidays with Pizza making, Sausage Linking, Meet the farmer, Burger making and our own tractor Ted, Teddy Bears Picnic with animal face painting. Bookings are being taken now!
If camping is your thing we are so GLAMPING. Posh camping comes to Foxholes Farm and will be available for the month of August. We will welcome you with a delicious field to fork food hamper and there are wash-room facilities on site. Relax and watch the sun set with perfect views over the Hertfordshire countryside, sleeping in a beautiful bell tent, the perfect break.
The barbecue season has finally arrived, time to try our mouth watering selection of home reared meats from the butchery counter. Get your taste buds buzzing and your coals burning, our great selection of meats marinated and glazed help to create summer on a plate. Try our sweet lamb glazed in mint or lemon pepper pork, Cajun chicken or smoky beef we have a huge selection of marinades to choose from, just ask our friendly butchers for advice at the butchery counter. Or even better, if you like to try before you buy we have some amazing tasting evenings coming up. Our first is our summer barbecue buffet tasting. Our farm chef will cook up a platter of our award winning meats prepared and cooked with a range of different marinades to help you choose before you buy. Washed down with a glass of bubbly every Thursday evening 7pm-9pm the price is £19.95 per person. (bookings available in the farm shop) Tel: 01992 552900.
Come and relax in our Granny Smiths Tea Shop, serving light lunches all day seven days a week with dishes showcasing our local and regional producers. Our farm chef has a delightful specials board every month and serves delicious cream teas, meat platters, cakes, ice-creams, soft drinks and a children`s menu. For the adults, we are now delighted we can serve alcoholic drinks, so come and enjoy a refreshing glass (or two) of wine or beer now being served in our tea-room or to purchase from our award winning farm shop.
