Spring has arrived on the farm. Calving is well and truly happening. We have chicks due to hatch on the 8th April and lambs arriving the week before Easter, so please come and see them while they are small and cute. The fields are drying out and we are spreading manure for the grass to grow. We are also fencing and rolling the fields in readiness for the animals to be outside from mid April.
We welcome Cliff, our new full time butcher into our fold. He has many years of experience and some of you may already recognise him. We say goodbye to Kristian our Student Butcher from Denmark, he has been entertaining us, but will go home at the end of March with a wealth of new butchery knowledge and our best wishes in his career. With Easter approaching we have a beautiful display of treats, cakes, chocolates and gifts for all the family. The Deli counter has a selection of Irish cheeses in for St Patricks Day
With the warmer weather approaching the garden, play area and sun terrace are becoming busy. Mothers Day Afternoon Tea at £19.95 for two is a great gift, or social event.
