At a ceremony attended by finalists from 14 award categories across the county, run by the Hertfordshire Food & Drink Awards 2015 at Shendish Manor on Monday June 8th, 2015, Foxholes Farm Shop was declared winner of the “Best Farmer’s Market Stallholder”. They also received two highly commended certificates for “Outstanding Customer Service Excellence” & “Best Independent Food Retailer/Producer of the Year”. These come swiftly after winning two business awards at the Inspiring Herts business awards last month.
Managing Partner of Foxholes Farm Shop, Catherine Smith commented, “We are very proud of this award and being nominated for all three categories, as these particular awards were voted for by the public. We have worked very closely with East Herts District Council at our local Farmer’s Markets to showcase the best of our home reared beef and other produce. Many thanks to them for sponsoring the awards and for their support over the past several years. With more than 11 major supermarkets in a three mile radius there is stiff competition for us all at the Farmer’s markets. It is thanks to EHDC and all the stallholders that our Farmers Markets receive excellent promotion and loyal visitors each week. A very special thank you to all who voted!”
