Hertford-based, family-run business Foxholes Farm Shop was announced as ‘Judges’ Award WINNER’ at the prestigious Hertfordshire Business Awards 2014 on Thursday, November 27th, 2014. More than 450 guests came together at Knebworth Barns for the awards evening, hosted by BBC Look East presenter Stewart White, where the cream of the crop in Hertfordshire business were crowned.

About Foxholes, the judges said: “Having been visited by several of the judges in the different categories everyone had so many nice things to say about this business but to name just a few: Catherine’s passion and determination for the shop and cafe is infectious and spreads throughout the team. Customer service is exemplary with friendly, helpful staff and a loyalty card system that helps personalise service and marketing. A significant amount of produce is grown on site and if not its sourced from the immediate surrounding doing wonders for the local economy. Plans for further growth are already being drawn up and we have no doubt Catherine will continue to succeed and we wish her all the best for the future.”

In its 8th year, local is Foxholes Farm Shop’s passion, producing and selling fresh, flavoursome and ethical farm produce, reducing food miles and supporting other local farms and our community. It employs 25 staff who are equally as passionate and dedicated to offering excellent customer service.
Foxholes Farm is a 3rd generation family run business with arable and livestock enterprises. The farm celebrate their 50th Anniversary this year in farming at Foxholes.
Hertford’s popular Foxholes Farm Shop is also a finalist in two upcoming national business awards:
