Managing Partner at Foxholes, Catherine Smith said: “We are really honoured to have received four finalist places in this year’s Inspiring Herts/Herts Chamber of Commerce’s business awards. We have enjoyed tremendous support and favourable feedback over the years from the great British public who visit the farm, Farm Shop and Granny Smith’s Tea Shop; but to have the recognition from the business community is the ultimate accolade. Special thanks to the sponsors of each category we have been shortlisted for including: the Mercury News Group, Porsche Centre Hatfield, Stevenage Borough Council and Johnson Matthey. It would be wonderful to win one of these awards but the acknowledgement is much appreciated and the team are delighted.”

The Inspiring Hertfordshire 2015 Awards, launched to celebrate success and achievement and boost business confidence in Hertfordshire, has yet again had a fantastic response with a record number of entries.

Herts Chamber Chairman, Neville Reyner CBE DL, said: ‘We have been overwhelmed by the response to these awards. The quality of the entries was most impressive and presented an almost impossible challenge for the judges. My thanks to all that entered, our hard pressed judges and our sponsors without whose support these awards would not be possible. I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all who entered and, in particular, to those who were shortlisted not forgetting all entries which are winners in my opinion.”

Award winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner taking place at the prestigious Porsche Centre Hatfield on Thursday 14 May, 2015. The categories that the judges have shortlisted Foxholes Farm Shop for at the 2015 Inspiring Herts awards include:
