As usual, spring is the best time on the farm with all the newborn animals. We have been busy looking after our herd of cows as they give birth in their winter quarters. As the fields dry out soon, you will be able to see them in the fields along the driveway.
In our lambing barn, we have just started the manic time of continuous surveillance, so we are on hand to help any new lambs into this world. The sound of newly born lambs is a sure sign of spring, and with the clocks changing this weekend, we will all welcome lighter evenings.
Farm Park at Easter 29th March – 14th April
Our Annual Lambing Live event opens to the public this Good Friday. Come and see firsthand the work we do on the farm with the sheep at this time of year. You can see the newly born lambs and may even get the chance to see a lamb being born.
Chicks
If we have our timings correct, you will also be able to our newly hatched chicks for this year.
Goats
We have also just had baby pigmy goats, they are so cute. These are a must see as they grow into mischievous teenagers!

Deli and Tea Room
We have some lovely local Easter treats on display at the Deli Counter, along with all the varieties of Sauage Rolls, Quiches, Scotch Eggs and Meat Pies for you to take home for entertaining or eating in, in our Tea Room.
As it is the School Holidays, we have our Little Farmer lunch boxes ready and some salad boxes for the adults. We are also taking bookings for High Teas, please call 01992 552900.
