Need some inspiration when it comes to Christmas shopping, then look no further, our farm shop has loads of gift ideas for your friends and family. Our hampers are full of delicious products made by some of the best artisan producers. From local gin, whisky, beers and even bubbly to fine chocolates, cheeses, biscuits, sweets and lots of lovely condiments. Or why not make your own bespoke hamper, choose a basket from our wide range, fill it with gorgeous goodies and we will wrap it for you. Gift vouchers are also available to spend in our farm shop and tea room, or why not treat someone to one of our 2020 butchery classes.
In season this month are celeriac, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, chestnuts, kale, red cabbage swede and parsnips to give you all the vegetables you will need for a festive lunch. To top it off we also have Christmas puddings, mince pies and the all important brandy butter on our farm shop shelves this month, when they’re gone they’re gone!
The butchers have a busy few weeks of prepping lots of orders, all our meat is cut fresh to order in time for your festive feast! Our locally sourced free-range turkeys can be ordered up until the 16th of December and with all other meat orders still available after that date you can get your order in time for Christmas and New Year.
Stock up the freezer with our meat boxes: our Brunch Box with fresh cured bacon, smoked salmon, eggs, avocado, Chipolatas, and apple juice. Or our Lamb Box (half or whole lamb) includes chops, shoulder joint, stuffed breast with lots of different cuts or our Beef Box with diced, minced, rump steaks and topside beef joint. Don’t forget the all important ‘pigs in blankets’, our very own handmade sausages covered in our own cured streaky bacon, we also have fresh stuffing and sausage meat. Game, pork and chicken & ham pies are all cooked in-house in our deli kitchen, available for you to order whole or half along with our artisan cheese range & pâté, we will pre cut your order to suit your requirements. To place your order just fill in a ‘meat order’ form or contact our team and we will have your order ready for you to collect.
The ‘Farmers Table’ is also open, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon and high tea, or why not book our ‘festive’ high tea for two people. Festive finger sandwiches, farm festive bites and festive treats on a tiered platter all washed down with either tea or coffee, for an extra £4.95 mulled wine or a glass of Prosecco is available (Gluten-free options available). From January 2020 our tea room is the perfect venue for tea parties, family get-togethers, christenings, baby showers and all other celebrations. We can cater for up to 40 guests with free parking, disabled access, enclosed children’s play area and bespoke catering packages to suit your requirements.
