Our Farm Park will be open every day until the 5th September for visits by adults and children on a pre-book only basis. Summer on the farm is such a magical time of the year and we have many new arrivals. Mary our mummy pig has given birth to adorable little piglets and is chilling out in the barn with her babies. Our new orphan calf Winston has also taken up residency in our stable, he will be hand-fed and taken care of by one of our farm team until he can go out into the field to meet the others cows, we also have lots of new baby bunnies all born here at the farm. Come and feed the chicks, ducks, guinea fowl, calves, pigs, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys and sheep this summer, our farm trailer will be open every day serving hot & cold drinks, snacks and other goodies. You can pre-order one of our picnic hampers and we will have your picnic freshly made ready for your arrival.
Seasonal fruit and veg are available in the farm shop this month along with fresh raspberries, plums, peaches, apricots, new potatoes, jerseys, salads, courgettes, rhubarb, strawberries, tomatoes and fine green beans. The butchery counters are full this month with seasonal food for grilling, kebabs, steaks, chops and joints all made fresh to order. Do check out our butchers BBQ range of meats, our butchers will always be happy to give you advice on the best cuts and how to cook them. If you are isolating, elderly, vulnerable or shopping for somebody else you can order your goods direct through our online shop and we will pick and pack your order, ready for you to collect.
Our glamping season has certainly been busy, our new family sized super-pods with panoramic views of the countryside and painted walls offer an aesthetically and pleasing light space with a touch of luxury. Its large panoramic window with double entrance door really sets off the whole luxury glamping experience. Our Super-pod has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, fully equipped shower room, kitchen with fridge, oven and hob. The dining area seats 4/6 people with the addition of a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with utensils, crockery and cooking equipment. A comfy corner sofa in the lounge area can be made into a sofa-bed for another 2 people if required. The super-pods are heated throughout and fitted with quality fitted lights, plugs, sockets etc. Take in the views on the large veranda seating area with outdoor furniture and BBQ provided or relax in the eco-wood fired hot tub (included in the price) for an exquisite luxury stay.
