As the summer heats up it’s no wonder us farmers are constantly battling the elements of a dry summer. Year after year we harvest all our silage to give our animals enough winter fodder to feed on. We are always moving our herds to replenish the dry fields and this year seems extremely dry.
The sunflowers have opened up giving our field a lovely golden glow and this year we are making the most of these glorious stems of beauty. Not only are they available to purchase in our farm shop but we are holding some ‘Pick Your Own’ sunflowers events starting on Thursday 13th August. Sessions will last around 20 minutes and other dates have been penciled in, weather permitting! (see our website for more details). The Farm Park has now opened for a few selected days per week. After keeping an eye on the government guidelines we were finally able to offer pre-booked sessions with limited numbers of visitors. Our Farm Park is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm to be booked in half hourly sessions, this allows us time to filter our visitors through and keep our farm park incredibly clean. Come and feed the animals, meet our new baby bunnies, our baby donkey Micheala and enjoy the fresh air. Food bought from the farm shop can be eaten in designated areas.

Our Farm shop has been given a makeover, with lovely new butchers counters, fridges, multidecs and deli counters. We have been compliant with all the government guidelines to make your shop as easy and safe as possible. Our new look gives you the confidence to shop for all your local & regional foods and this summer we have managed to open up our new takeaway service ‘Deli on the Moove’! Fresh hot & cold food and drinks served daily, from burgers to bacon sandwiches, cooked meats, quiches, sausage rolls, salad, cheese, olives and even sun dried tomatoes. Make sure you take advantage of the great outdoors, we have delicious picnic hampers and afternoon teas to takeaway, you can also place your order in advance.
Cherries, carrots, chillies, courgettes, fennel, beans, peppers and new potatoes are all in season, our salad/veg & fruit boxes are very popular. You can order in advance or request one when entering the farm shop and our team will pack a box ready for when you leave.
These boxes are great with our BBQ meats, homemade burgers, sausages, ribs, steaks and our very popular BBQ family packs. If you’re mostly a roast kind of person then we have some great deals on our roast boxes, a joint of meat serving at leat six people which comes with all the trimming and vegetables to make a Sunday roast worth cooking with the family.
