Just decided to visit here Friday morning, never been before. Stopped in the cafe for coffee but then saw they did a breakfast. The wife and I both had the full English and it was superb, lovely sausages, bacon and black pudding all from the farm I believe. The kids had bacon and sausage sandwiches which also looked really nice, coffee and tea were re fills which was nice. We then went round the farm in the spring sunshine and it was all really nice family morning out.

“My friend organised my baby shower at your tea room today and I just wanted to write and say a massive thank you and well done to all of the staff today. They were amazing as was the all the food and delicious hot scones with cream and jam. One of my friends was gluten intolerant which was catered for with no problems. Nothing was too much trouble and I had a very special day.”
Such a good value, quality afternoon tea!!!
“My husband and I came to the farm last week and after wandering round, looking at your beautiful animals we spent time mooching around the shop and loved all your produce. We bought sausages, mince, lamb shanks and much more!! Though I am a hairdresser,I am passionate about good food and cooking …would have loved to be a chef too. We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for producing such ‘fantastic’ great quality meat!!! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Foxholes Farm provides the tastiest meats in the cleanest deli in the friendliest country farm. Worth travelling 20+ miles for.”
Virginia Newman, London
“Diversification is not easy and requires skill, passion and dedication- and Foxholes has developed enormously from the early idea of selling beef from the kitchen door to a thriving example of rural enterprise in the heart of a working farm- an inviting farm shop full of a variety of food, homemade pies, cheese produced on the farm, a Master Butcher, a pet area, play area and now a cosy tea shop to add to the list.”
“All credit to Catherine and the whole family.”

“Foxholes food is consistently of excellent quality from local producers. I am always delighted to deal with their friendly and helpful staff.”

“I am writing in support of Foxholes Farm Shop and Tearoom in Hertford. I have been a customer for many years and remember when the shop was based in the farmhouse selling meat from the farm. I have been excited and impressed to watch the business grow and extend while still keeping the family atmosphere and providing quality local produce and jobs for local people.
Catherine and her team are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, always providing great service and ideas, whether it is for that intimate Friday supper or grand Christmas lunch. Picnics and barbeques can be sorted out too, as well as great fresh produce for a full English breakfast or afternoon tea.
The recently opened tearoom is a wonderful addition and many a coffee has been enjoyed after a walk over the fields enjoying the views, watching the cattle and shopping at the farm. Afternoon tea on Mothers day was a real treat.”

“Thank you Catherine.
Again, you have provided excellent customer service; especially with speed of your responses.
I doubt that you have an official ’compliment form’ but please accept this email as one.
Not only does Foxholes Farm provide excellent produce, they also provide outstanding customer service from fantastic individuals. I will be back; in person and via email. That, I promise you.”
